New LGC Backpack Product Offers Centralized Way to Manage Time and Benefits

Columbia, Tenn., December 13, 2016 - Local Government Corporation (LGC) introduces a product offering designed to make it easier and more convenient for customers and their employees to manage time and benefits. 
Known as LGC Backpack, this solution is part of the company's NextGen product line. It takes LGC's NextGen Payroll software to the next level, with the HR functions customers have asked for, and a new responsive design for mobile devices.

To create this functionality, the company has partnered with MyBenefitsChannel (MBC), powered by Sanorbix, for secure, easy-to-use apps. MBC will serve as an employee portal within LGC Backpack that will allow employees to review their W-4 elections, PTO/leave accruals, benefits deductions, paycheck stubs and W-2 forms. Other applications include Time & Attendance, In-service Scheduling & Tracking, Onboarding & Orientation and a Benefits & HR Library.
